Why is the Customer Area evolving?
We're adapting our businesses as energy distributors and suppliers to the energy transition.
To meet your needs, SMEG has chosen to diversify its activities and offer you, both individuals and professionals, a wider range of services.
Our mission is to help you manage your energy.

Who will benefit from the new Customer Area?
All SMEG private and professional customers.
Previously, access to the Customer Area was determined by the power rating of your electricity contract.
Today, you can access a Customer Area tailored to your specific uses, whatever the terms of your contract.

- As a professional, you can access the Customer Area dedicated to professionals. (available soon)
Is access to the Customer Area subject to a fee?
No, SMEG provides you with entirely free customer areas.
What is multi-factor authentication (MFA)?
SMEG is committed to guaranteeing the same level of security wherever you go, whenever you go.
The evolution of our customer areas is accompanied by enhanced security for access to your personal data, requiring several authentication factors to validate each connection:
First factor: You enter your e-mail address and password. A 6-digit code is then sent to your e-mail address for validation, which you must enter to continue.
Second factor: You associate a telephone number with your account. A 6-digit code is sent by SMS to this number, which you must enter to confirm your identification.
This way, even if a third party obtains your password, access will be denied without simultaneous access to your e-mail and telephone.
Why choose multi-factor authentication (MFA)?
- Enhanced security: MFA efficiently protects your account by adding several levels of validation. This provides better defence against password theft and cyber-attacks such as phishing.
- Regulatory compliance: regulations recommend MFA for securing sensitive information, particularly in the financial and healthcare sectors.
- Peace of mind: MFA guarantees enhanced security for greater peace of mind.
- Flexibility: MFA offers several types of authentication factors, including applications, text messages, physical keys and biometrics.
Please note:
Although MFA offers enhanced security, no authentication method is perfect. It is essential to comply with the best security practices, starting by not sharing your passwords or other authentication devices with third parties.
Will I lose my data when logging in to the new Customer Area?
No, logging in to the new Customer Area does not erase your data.
Once logged in, you'll find all your personal information, your consumption data and your invoice history.
How do I access the new customer areas?
When logging in for the first time, you need to authenticate yourself on the new Customer Area web page.
Individuals and professionals: access the Customer Area directly via the URLs dedicated to your profile.

How do I access my individual customer area?
1 - I log in and activate my new customer area using the activation link sent by SMEG
(I have not yet created my Smeg Energy account).
How do I know if an account has already been created?
A message will be displayed indicating that no account is associated with the e-mail address entered.
Account activation steps:
• Step 1: Receive activation link
- I click on the activation link sent by SMEG to my e-mail address.
- I click on "Activate my account".
- I access the “Welcome to your personal area” screen.
The e-mail address will be used as your login ID and for all correspondence with SMEG.
• Step 2: Account creation
- I create a password (at least 8 characters, with uppercase, lowercase, symbol and number).
- I fill in my first and last name.
- I click on “Next".
• Step 3: Email validation
I enter the 6-digit validation code I received by e-mail.
• Step 4: Phone validation (optional but recommended)
I enter my phone number and the code received by SMS.
• Step 5: Validation of General Terms and Conditions (GTUs)
- I accept the General Terms of Use.
- I receive a “welcome” email confirming the creation of my individual customer area.
• Step 6: Connection
I am now connected and can browse freely.
2 - I log in and activate my new customer area using the activation link sent by SMEG
(I have already created my Smeg Energy account).
How do I know if an account has already been created?
A message will indicate whether an account has already been created with the e-mail address entered.
Connection steps:
• Step 1: Receive activation link
- I click on the activation link sent by SMEG to my e-mail address.
- I click on “Activate my account”.
- I access the "Welcome to your individual area" screen.
The e-mail address will be used as your login ID and for all correspondence with SMEG.
• Step 2. Enter your password

How do I know?
You will receive a message telling you that no account has been created with the e-mail address you entered.
• Step 1. Account creation
- I access the “Welcome to your individual area” login screen.
- I enter my login e-mail address. This e-mail address will be associated with my account as a login ID.
It will also be my e-mail address for correspondence with SMEG.
• Step 2. Password creation
- I create My password: 8 characters minimum - 1 uppercase letter - 1 lowercase letter - 1 number - must not include any part of your username.
- I fill in: My first and last name.
- I click on “Next ”.
• Step 3. Validation by email

• Step 1. Login after accessing the portal home page and clicking on login
- I access the “Welcome to your individual customer area” login screen.
- I enter my login e-mail address. This e-mail address is associated with my account as a login. ID
- I click on “Next ”.
• Step 2. Password forgotten
- I access the “Log in to my individual area” screen.
- I click on “Forgot password”
• Step 3. Validation
I enter the 6-digit verification code I received by email or SMS.
• Step 4. Reset my password
I create My password: 8 characters minimum - 1 uppercase letter - 1 lowercase letter - 1 number - must not include any part of your username.
• Step 5. Reset my password
I receive an email confirming my new password.
• Step 7. Connection

(if you have not yet created your Smeg Energy account).
How do I know if an account has already been created?

SMEG sends an activation link to the e-mail address of the person designated as administrator of the company account. This administrator will be responsible for managing employee access and roles within the customer area.

The designated administrator sends an activation link to his or her employees.

Click on the activation link received by e-mail. Then select the “Activate my account” option to access the welcome screen entitled “Welcome to your professional customer area". - Use of e-mail address:
